Event:
Launch of DSP Designer software on two consecutive nights at two different trade shows in two different cities (Anaheim and Denver)
Attendance: 250 guests per event
Description:
The events were developed around an auto racing theme which:
- referred to the product's "hot new engines"
- capitalized on an existing H-P racing sponsorship, and
- provided a highly interactive atmosphere ideal for fully involving the audience.
Audience:
Software designers, engineers, and others involved in high-tech issues.
Management Services:
- Development of event concept to support new product introduction,
- Assistance in securing mailing lists for both trade shows,
- Design and copywriting of invitation,
- Arrangments for mailing of 10,000 invitations,
- RSVP management, including custom database for responsive tracking,
- Liason with management at both trade shows,
- Site research, leveraging strong contracts in both cities,
- Development of entertainment, decor, menu, and staff uniforms to support event theme,
- Creation of customized game, "H-P Trivia Track," including development of questions, design of setting and stage, as well as scripting and coaching the emcee,
- Budget development and management,
- Creation of product demonstration area,
- Selection of themed mementos and prizes,
- Advance teams for both cities,
- On-site management for both events,
- Staff training to maximize participation, and
- Responsibility lists, timetables, and invoice review and approval.
